      <image:caption>Thomas J. Carey has been practicing law for almost 15 years.  He has many years of experience handling complex divorces and family law issues.  He has a great deal of family law litigation experience that includes trial experience with: financial issues, child issues, guardianship, and PFAs. He also has, for many years, represented serious felony criminal matters as well as OUI and domestic violence matters.  Tom has received not guilty verdicts in felony domestic violence jury trials and OUI jury and bench trials. In his free time he enjoys downhill and cross country skiing with his wife and young child as well as fly fishing in local rivers.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Woody Hanstein - Walter “Woody” Hanstein</image:title>
      <image:caption>Woody Hanstein has been a lawyer for nearly 35 years.  He first worked as a Navy JAG officer in both Charleston, S.C. and at the Brunswick Naval Air Station, and then was an Assistant District Attorney in Franklin County.  Since 1987 he has been in private practice with an emphasis on criminal defense and personal injury trial work. He currently serves on the Maine Legislature’s Criminal Law Advisory Committee and has also been appointed to sit on the Maine Supreme Courts’ Advisory Committee on Professional Responsibility. Woody has frequently lectured fellow Maine lawyers on a variety of topics, and he also teaches law-related courses at the University of Maine at Farmington.  In his spare time he has written six mystery novels, coaches the UMF rugby team and is the director of the Titcomb Mountain Ski Patrol.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Ashley Perry is a partner at Sanders, Hanstein, Carey &amp; Perry, and joined the team in 2018 after spending the previous year as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Maine District Court. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2017 with an award-winning publication in the Maine Law Review and received two other awards for pro bono service and performance in trial advocacy courses. Her practice includes criminal defense, divorce and other family related matters, appeals, and other forms of litigation and trial practice. She is a rostered Guardian ad Litem and also serves as the President of the Franklin County Bar Association and a member of the Board of Visitors for the Franklin County Detention Center. Ashley spends her free time hiking and camping with her partner and her dog, Allagash, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors.</image:caption>
