Probate Matters

A large component of our Probate Court practice involves litigating guardianships and conservatorships. A Guardianship may be necessary for a variety of reasons-it may be that a person needs a guardianship order because they are caring for a child but is not the biological parent, or a guardianship/conservatorship might be necessary if an adult is or becomes incapacitated and is unable to care for and make decisions for themselves. Our firm also handles other probate matters such as probating wills, adoptions, and making claims against estates. We also prepare and execute original wills.
